The Lafayette County Board of Supervisors is requesting proposalsfrom interestedfirms and individuals to update the existing 2008 Comprehensive Plan for Lafayette County and revising, developing and implementingLand Use requirements. These proposals should include as a minimum the following items:
- Qualifications and experience, with references, in the areas of land use planning and comprehensive plan development.
- A time line for accomplishing the update of the 2008 Comprehensive Plan and recommendations on developing and implementing Land Use requirements.
- The Proposal should include the specific work to be accomplished, such as matters relating to updating the Plan and its compilation, formulating recommendations, mapping, developing Land Use regulations, organizing and participating in public meetings and hearings, etc.
- The proposal should include a fee schedule or lump sum dollar amount referencing particular tasks to accomplish all work within the proposed time line.
Each firm or individual submitting a proposal should be aware that it will be working with the County Attorney, County Planner/Engineer, the Lafayette County Planning Commission and the Lafayette County Board of Supervisors to accomplish this work.
Therefore, please include adequate time for several meetings to accomplish this work.
